Gellért is an 80-year-old 4-star hotel, opened in 1918, restored in 1962 and in 1973, built in art nouveau style, located at the foot of Gellért Hill and sharing the building with the world-famous Gellért Spa. The hotel is on the banks of the river Danube, a good 10-minute walk from the city centre, business areas and the nearest subway station
